Why do you keep sabotaging all your exercise efforts?!? If you missed last weeks podcast — that’s just what we talked about. We dove into your HISTORY with movement, and how you will usually fall into one of these categories:

Category 1: As a child, you felt uncoordinated and unfit compared to your peers.
Category 2: As a child, you were athletic but never felt good enough so pushed your body to its limits.

Or maybe you’re somewhere in between like myself.

Growing up I was in Category 1 was totally disconnected from my body and always hated P.E. class. But after trying to lose weight by doing maaany crazy exercise programs, I started slipping into Category 2 and thought I had to sweat, scream and barely walk the next day for it to count as a workout.

If you want to be a person who moves their body consistently, you need to take a little trip to your past so you can clear any blocks that are keeping you stuck and sabotaging.

(Please be sure you’ve done that first (with this audio) before you listen to today’s audio.)

Today, we’re diving into how to create your Wildly Alive Movement Plan. This is a plan that will feel fun, light-hearted and *good* so you keep with it fo-EVA!

Creating a workout plan for yourself, following one made for the masses, or even having one designed for you are usually missing a key ingredient that causes you to quit altogether.

What’s this key ingredient? Well, I’ll get to that in a minute.

But first I want to discuss why I’m against these typical workout plans.

Here are my top 3:

  1. They are created from a place of punishment, fear, and shame (like, you HAVE to workout because you’re overweight, ate too much, or was “bad” the night before).
  2. They aren’t created for YOU (every human body are different — you need to cater to yours).
  3. They often go against your body and what she really needs in that moment (causing discord, pain, weight gain, and disappointment).

Here’s the sad truth — people are selling this ALL OVER THE PLACE and MANY people buy into it. Myself included!

I believed that if I didn’t exercise I was a bad, unworthy, fat person, and that overflowed into all areas of my life. It broke me down and diminished my self-esteem.

I know this sounds dramatic, but I was ADDICTED to workout plans. I felt like I always needed to follow one or I’d turn into an unmotivated, lazy turd. I didn’t trust myself. So, now looking back on it I see so clearly how following these plans for so many years actually caused more damage than helped.

Can you see that at all?

In this audio, I discuss why the secret ingredient in creating a workout plan is YOU. I show you exactly how to HEAR what your body is saying (when you ask her how’d she like to move), but more importantly how to LISTEN.

I show you step-by-step how I create ‘Wildly Alive Movement Plans’ with each of my clients within the Adventure Awaits group coaching program.
