Before working with Nichole, I had accepted that diet culture wasn’t the answer that was going to fix my life, but I was feeling crappy and wanting to make changes. I didn’t know how to make that change without tying my success to weight loss.
My body felt terrible. I didn’t enjoy my life. I was numbing out and missing out on everything.
The biggest shift I gained from working with Nichole was going from hating myself to loving myself, fully and unconditionally. I am worthy (and always was) right now even if I still have weight that I want to lose.
I now respect my body. I listen to her, and when she is telling me something, I respond lovingly, without drama. I am in a place with food that I never thought possible. It doesn’t consume my thoughts anymore. My relationship with food is what I would consider normal. And that’s incredible, something I never thought I would see in my life. Anytime I read about a person who doesn’t think much about food, I was so sure they were different than me; they didn’t have the struggles I had; my life must be harder than theirs.
After working with Nichole I am confident that I now have the tools to get where I want in life.
Today I am taking the love I have for myself and I am continuing to make positive health changes. I am seeing slow and steady weight loss and I just want to keep up-leveling my life.
Nichole is such a great coach. Her intuition is spot on, and somehow she knows just the right questions to ask when you are struggling with something. She is your biggest cheerleader, but also knows when you need a good kick in the butt. She’s great at reminding you to take the drama out of it. She’s compassionate and truly cares.
