You may not like me all the time, and I’m okay with that… But hear me out.

The last few weeks I’ve been writing some strongly written posts, and yes, some people were really pissed.

At first my people pleaser’s feelings got hurt and I was trying to explain every word they didn’t like…

I was frantic.
I was defensive.
I was unable to focus on anything else.

I.was.triggered.

Then I really sat with it… and had to give myself some tough love.
“Nichole. YOU’RE A COACH!”
“You’re not here to make sure everyone likes you!”
“YOUR JOB IS TO CHALLENGE PEOPLE!”

Look I love you, yes, even if we’ve never even met.
The fact that you’ve been hanging around tells me that you have a yearning for something better than what ya got. Which you absolutely deserve (even if what you’ve got is pretty good).

And I’m happy to hold that space for you. I love it. That’s why this profession chose me. It lights me up when I am able to witness someone break through ceilings that have held them back for years and rise up.
It’s such an honor to be able to witness, because I myself have busted through many ceilings and I fully understand the amount of self love and courage that it takes.

BUT the only way you’re going to create the freedom, purpose, joy and healthy body you’ve been wanting is if I push you and get you thinking in a different way.

The reason why you’re stuck:
… Binging on the food
… Drinking too much wine
… or scrolling until your eyes hurt
(when you really want to be nourishing and loving up on that awesome body of yours).

Is because you have a set of beliefs that are keeping you there.
And any good coach is willing to challenge those beliefs SO YOU CAN RISE.

If I get all caught up in my own fears of you not liking me, I’m doing YOU an injustice.
As much as you think I’m trying to push an agenda on you, I’m NOT.

It doesn’t matter how I feel about how you eat: keto, vegan, low carb…
It doesn’t matter how I feel about how you move: HIIT, yoga, running, weights…
It doesn’t matter how I feel about what’s going on right now!

I WANT YOU TO FIGURE OUT HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT THOSE THINGS!!
Not how others feel (personal trainers, doctors, nutritionists, the news, your religion, or your friends and family).
How do you, in your heart and soul, feel?

There is no such thing as THE truth.
But YOUR truth absolutely exists.

And that’s why my sole purpose is to help you STOP fighting the source to your truth: YOUR BODY.
When a woman is connected to her body she finds her opinion, her voice and her power.

I spent YEARS hating my body, and if only I knew how easy it could be: Stop fighting her and start listening!

So, when something I say triggers you, instead of the knee-jerk reaction of fighting back, stop, breathe and notice.
Ask yourself, “Why is this triggering me?”
Then keep digging.
Go inquire.
Journal.
Process.
And have an honest conversation with yourself.

Just like I did a few days ago when I had to give myself some tough love. My people pleaser was triggered and I had to remind myself that I can’t be happy if I’m making sure everyone else is happy. I worked through a belief that was holding me back, and now you’re literally witnessing me rise above it.

It’s totally cool if you come to the conclusion that you don’t agree with me. We can still love and respect each other.
The good news is that you found YOUR true opinion!! BAM mission accomplished.

When you start to tune inward for the answers you realize how incredibly badass your body really is… which then results in a mutually respectful relationship.

Then…
You eat in a way that’s respectful.
You move in a way that’s respectful.
You think in a way that’s respectful.

If you are really ready to explore this whole befriending your body thing, I have good news! I’m hosting an Embrace & Reshape Your Body Challenge, and it’s totally free.

And you bet your ass I’ll be challenging MANY of your beliefs around how you eat, move, and talk to her on a regular basis. So, you can finally put this struggle to rest, AND RISE.

If you are on my email list, you’re already IN, there’s nothing you need to do except open my emails from here on out. If not, sign up below and you won’t miss it.
We kick off in May, stay tuned.

With love,
Nichole

PS: Excited for the challenge and want to hang out with a great group of supportive women while you wait? Check out my playground group!
